The Vic Lawrence 7 is a seven-piece swing band inherited from mentor Vic Lawrence, a tenor player who led the band to popularity in the 70s and 80s in Toronto. It is currently led by Toby Hughes (alto) and features Gram Whitty (bass), John Collins (drums), Jan Hughes (trumpet), Jacqueline Chia (trombone), Andrew Molgun, (tenor), Nat Edgar (piano).
